Established in 2016, Mana Hapori is a faith-based social service organisation committed to walking alongside the community of Kemureti/Cambridge. We are a whole population service supporting whaanau and individuals while working from a Te Ao Maaori space
Volunteers Needed
Mana Hapori are seeking volunteers to support our Lunches in Schools programme.
Since 2022 we have been making and then delivering lunches to schools for children needing a lunch. If you have some time on a Monday , Tuesday or Thursday please consider getting in touch with us.
Start date: 16 February 2026
What’s involved:
Coming to the Mana Hapori office- 18 Raleigh Street Leamington
Helping prepare lunches for tamariki - between 20-40 lunches
Delivering lunches to local schools - Leamington, Cambridge East and Middle School
Time commitment:
Around 1.5 hours per week (mornings) — once you get the hang of it, it often takes just 30–45 minutes.
Days needed:
Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays

We believe that regular attendance at school enhances a child’s ability to learn. Providing children with a lunch every day is one small way to support their regular attendance.
